When you talk to MAX about a specific asset, you want zero ambiguity about which one you mean. Is "GC" a stock or gold futures? Is "TON" Toncoin or something else? The @ key removes the guesswork. Type it and the composer becomes a live symbol search across every market MAX covers.
How it works
Type @ in the composer
A picker appears instantly, pre-loaded with popular symbols across every asset class.
Keep typing to filter
Match on the ticker or the company name. Type "appl" and you'll see AAPL — Apple Inc. Type "euro" and the EUR pairs surface. The list narrows with every keystroke.
Select it
The symbol drops into your message as a clean reference. MAX now knows the exact asset — and its market — with no chance of confusion.
Every market, one key
The picker spans all four markets MAX trades, each clearly tagged so you grab the right instrument:
The picker leads with the most-traded names, but it isn't capped to them. Keep typing and the search reaches deeper — thousands of equities, ETFs, and indices, plus the full crypto pair universe. If it trades, you can probably @ it.
Why bother instead of just typing?
Two reasons. First, precision: forex pairs and futures use slashes (EUR/USD, /ES) that are easy to mistype, and the picker gets them exactly right. Second, speed: a few letters and a tap is faster than spelling out "the E-mini S&P 500 futures." Combine it with a slash command — /analyze then @ — and you've issued a precise instruction in under two seconds.
"@" is for assets — tickers and pairs. "/" is for actions — analyze, find, chart, compare. Use them together and you're driving MAX like a pro.
